If you're familiar with this site then you notice that the futuristic version of this site looks exactly like the 2011 one. As this is the first post of the year I'm going to first state Happy New Year to everyone. If you haven't figured out by now, I am a one man team here, and try to get my point across in several of my post. Recently I changed my name from Tecnicle to The RetroGamerGeek, and started a whole new channel on YouTube geared toward video games of years long past. Though there will also be new games talked about, I'm generally a retro gamer.

The Here, The Now, and The Upcoming

There are so many things taking place right now, but I do have a review of the Metal Slug Anthology on the Wii. I recently played the game, and I really have a lot to say about the Wii version. I'm not going to get into right now, but I will discuss it in my full review. For me it came as a shock, and it was my dad who called me and told me the news. I never thought you could experience loss, and mourn someone you’ve never met before. That’s the awesome truth about Steve, whether you knew him or not he had a way of touching your life.
