President Barack Obama

Yesterday history was made as America had it’s first African American President take the oath of office. As I watched this event on television I was filled with emotion, and was truly proud to be an American. Having followed this election closely from the very beginnings to this very moment, I must say I am very happy with the outcome.

As for Former President Bush, the jury still out on whether or not he was a good President. And it could be many years before we will even know if any good came from his Administration.

Right now my thoughts and prayers go out to President Obama and his family. There is an enormous task ahead of him, and the people of this nation must be willing to work together.
